The Parkour Club

2020
By Pam Miller Withers’78
and Arooj Hayat

Inspired by a group of parkour athletes in Yemen—who practice their gymnastics-like sport despite their war-torn surroundings—young-adult author Pam Withers joined forces with a mosque youth leader and parkour athlete. The result is the story of a Yemini refugee and parkour star trying to adapt to life in North America.
